I have broken a chain today!
I didn't post about this, this morning because I didn't want to jinx myself.
I drove today and didn't get in an accident.
While that may not seem like big news to you, let me preface.
The last two years I have gotten in a car accident on the first big snow while driving to or from a school observation. This is what I was preparing myself for this morning as I was preparing to drive in the snow for the first time this winter on my way to a school for an observation. But delightfully, no accident! Hooray!!

the first couple of times that i read the first sentence, i thought it said that you had broken a chair. which i just could not figure out how that had anything to do with car wreaks, unless it was what happened instead.
