Work In Progress

He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6

Concussed

Things that are not okay:

Hitting my head eight days before my showcase in which I am doing a routine which involves spinning constantly for two and a half minutes at an incredible rate of speed. Super.

Ironically, I told Tim about two weeks ago that it was vital that I not hit my head before the showcase, so he was not allowed to teach certain moves in the Highland group.

In addition to now being concussed and dizzy, I had a surprise visit from a "friend" which I was working to avoid until after the showcase. Now I am dizzy, nauseous, and cramp-y. Fantastic Timing.

Ugh. I'm going to have to take it easy this week so I can be as healed as possible by Sunday.

Good news...it's now and not the actual showcase that all this is occurring. Granted it makes practicing harder, but think how much easier it will be the day of when you are fully up to par.

yeah. takes about a month to recover from concussion though. But you are right, the additional problem will be gone by then.

You can do it!! Just rest as much as you can... and then go for it.

Really, it takes a full month? You would think that I would know that. Does that mean that you have been recovery from some concussion or another for most of the time that I have known you? If so, then wow, you can do a lot not fully function!

Yup, pretty much most of my college was recovery time...
