Work In Progress

He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6

Arkansas

Things I have learned about Arkansas

  • People sit on their front porches and watch other people drive around.
  • The level of accent varies drastically, but apparently all people who make announcements over PA's have the thickest accents.
  • Mosquito's are invisible, but effective.
  • I am allergic to Arkansas as a whole.
  • Bill Clinton is not from Little Rock, but his picture does in fact hang in the State Capital.
  • The State cooking utensil is the Dutch Oven.
  • The State musical instrument is "The Fiddle."
  • Arkansas's reputation for violence and weaponry was cemented when a legislator stabbed another legislator at a duel.
  • Rice is the state plant, but I'm pretty sure it is really Marijuana.
  • There is a bridge named, "Big Dam Bridge," which I first believed was a description instead of a title.
