Work In Progress

Flu

I'm all done with the flu. It is official! I ate my first chocolate chip waffle this morning and I do not feel any nasty side effects! SWEET! Still, not as good as Ben Liskey's chocolate chip pancakes, but its the closest I can get. Anyway, I've decided I am going to be healthy this week. After two (week long) illnesses, I am excited to not be sick and not go to PUSH! Hooray!

They ask about 12 times to make sure you are not pregnant.... especially when you throw up early Sunday morning...

I was just kidding about the pregnancy thing. That is what PUSH is famous for asking us girls. My symptoms were as such that they didnt need to ask their number one question. Since my symptoms were severe they sent me down to triage to see if I was capable of sitting and waiting. Once they discovered that I was, I went up stairs and waited and waited and waited. The Nurse who usually checks you out first was MIA, so I got in straight to one of the doctors. She then proceeded to ask my symptoms what I have been doing to help myself and then pushed on my sore stomach for quite a while. Then she told me that I had guessed correctly and I did indeed have the stomach flu. She gave me an anti-nauseous cream to rub on my arms and told me to get Imodium AD. Then sent me home for the day. That is the end of a rather unexciting story.
