Covenant

So I tried a new church today, Covenant Presbyterian Church. It was an interesting experience to walk into a new church and know more people then I do at my normal church. One of the women that spoke really stuck a chord with me. Not a bad chord, just gave me a tangible example of why I still hold on to hope.

So, two more days of class next week then Thanksgiving Break! I am really rather excited. I need a break from Block 3. It is driving me up the wall. I'm going to work really hard to be not only decent, but also respectful to Angie. A very difficult undertaking, but necessary. The end of Pleasant Hill Elementary is in sight! Not that I do not enjoy spending time with most of the children, but due to the work load, the school as a whole has become an unpleasant sight.

Random thought: The more I watch QVC (because that is all we can really watch with our lame cable) the better and better the products look to me. I have actually considered more than once buying something from the channel. When they show some obscure use for a product which is obviously designed for a separate purpose, I am completely drawn in. I think, "I never thought about using the $50 hair clips to attach my broken purse strap! Now, I am sure I need them!" Pathetic, I know. But after so many hours they suck you into their little world of delusion in which everything they sell is a Special Value and has at least 4 different obvious uses.
